What is the DME swap program?
To offer a full service option for our clients, KP has introduced the DME Swap program. If you select this option, a DME will be sent out to your specifications immediately and you are to return your working core with 3 days. Benefits of the swap program allow for no down time for our clients. There is no need to wait for your original DME to come back programmed.
Some customers prefer to have their original computer coded. This option will save the VIN recode fee if it is desired. The VIN recode is completely optional but is nice to have for a complete product.

Can I buy a DME from KasselPerformance?
YES – When purchasing a service, do not check the box for “core return” – and we will include the cost of a new DME with your purchase.
What is the street legal status?
All DME’s are considered for off-road use only. No guarantee can be made for your local inspection or emissions once the vehicle has been tuned. We do our best to ensure readiness monitors are set; however, not all vehicles will pass local emissions.
What is the warranty status of rebuilt engines?
We certainly offer a warranty on stock rebuild engines. Extended warranties can be purchased as well.
How are engine COREs handled?
Engines need to be sent back to Kassel within 30 days. Please see more info here: CORES
